This chapter reviews the evidence for effective service delivery to people withcomorbid disorders. It argues that if the burden of comorbidity is to be addressed, itis essential that research on service delivery is conducted and that services aredelivered to those with the more common disorders, as well as those with the moreaffronting yet less common disorders. These disorders have different prevalencerates, treatment responses and require different service delivery responses. We firstoutline the impact of comorbidity on the course of illness and use of services.
