This chapter gives visibility to the transformative journeys of migrant women. Often, the complex, multifaceted and gendered mobilities of migrant women are overlooked in gender blind analyses of migratory movements. Drawing on mobilities of Central and Eastern European women tourism workers, the chapter explores their migrant trajectories and in doing so it shows the transformative nature of their mobility as well as the blurring between travel, tourism, migration and work; between being tourists and providing for tourists.
