Deploying innovative teaching and learning strategies to identify and nurture the specific talents of those we work with should be inherently woven into the fabric of our own sport and exercise science practice. Whether through research, professional practice or scholarly activity, our own professional commitment to ensuring educational excellence should be our guiding principle. Motivating others along their educational journey, future-proofing them with work-ready skills and attitudes, providing them with a secure foundation for the development of confidence, self-esteem and a passion for learning, provides a platform for academic, personal and professional success. As a community of sport and exercise science practitioners, it is incumbent upon each of us to provide an excellent educational experience that supports students’ personal journeys and professional skill development for a future we know is uncertain.
