Demonstrations: the case of Budahazy v Hungary

<p>Considers the ECtHR judgment in Budahazy v Hungary (41479/10) on whether the convictions of the applicant for disorderly conduct and disruption of public works, after he led a number of unauthorised political demonstrations that blocked sections of the public highway in Budapest and resisted police interventions, had breached his rights under ECHR art.11(2) or had been necessary in a democratic society.</p>
