Directors' duties of care, skill and diligence in Vietnam

<p>The director’s duty of care in Vietnam is in its infancy. Many of the existing provisions are borrowed fromother jurisdictions and require implementation and evolution to make them uniquely Vietnamese. As part ofthe existing duties, Vietnam currently stipulates a duty to the ‘State’ and this could form a cornerstone fortheir own model of corporate social responsibility.</p>
