Byron ghosts

<p>Byron Ghosts was filmed in Hucknall's Byron Bingo, a former cinema that converted to a bingo hall in the early 2000s. Taking the form of a quasi-parapsychological investigation, the film documents aspects of the building as it stood in 2010: the ground floor bingo hall, the abandoned and crumbling cinema auditorium upstairs, and various backrooms. As the camera moves through the darkened building, it seems to awaken memories of it former function. The soundtrack uses on-site binaural field recordings by Dallas Simpson.</p>
