Bishopscourt, Isle of Man: Historic Structural Timbers

The report describes two sets of timbers exposed during preliminary building works. Those in the Morning/Drawing Room on the ground floor are identified variously as parts from a timber partition supporting wainscotting and a carrier for stairs. The single timber from the First Floor Bedroom in the Tower is tentatively identified as the top plate from a timber wall. Suggestions for conservation are offered for the timbers in the ground-floor room.
