Understanding the impact of financial support (bursaries/scholarships) - Access and Participation Plan Evaluation

<p>This report presents the findings of ‘Understanding the impact of financial support (bursaries/scholarships)’ the focus of The Access and Participation Plan Evaluation Project for 2017/18 undertaken by Dr. Rachel Spacey and Jennifer Johnson in the Lincoln Higher Education Research Institute from October 2017 to July 2018. It provides background to the project and details how it was carried out. Selected themes from the combined findings of the Office for Fair Access (OFFA) endorsed toolkit, drawing on the analysis of institutional data, the survey and focus group data are presented and discussed and the report ends with a number of recommendations in relation to future evaluation of financial support and access, progression and success at the University of Lincoln.</p>
