I am Professor of Education & Social Justice within the School of Education at the University of Lincoln, working in the fields of gender, development and education in international contexts. Prior to joining the University of Lincoln in 2023, I was Professor of Gender Studies within the Research Institute for Global Education at Coventry University (2020-23). Previously I was a Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Anthropology at Goldsmiths, University of London from where I was the Co-Director, with Professor Mark Johnson, of the GCRF-funded Global Gender and Cultures of Equality (GlobalGRACE) Project (2017-2022, £3.7m) and I continued to co-direct GlobalGRACE until project end in 2022 while based in Coventry.
