I am a Senior Lecturer and Programme Lead for MSc HRM at Lincoln. My research interests are in International HRM and labour/employment relationships, with a particular focus on the impacts of managements' operational and strategic policies, practices and interventions on the interactions between individual, organisational, and wider socio-collective performance outcomes. With specific foci on SMEs, small family businesses and MNEs in developed and emerging economies, I examine how managerial practices impact on individual, organisational and collective resilience, and the extent to which meaningfulness and/or meaninglessness is/are facilitated in contemporary organisations and society. I have over a hundred publications in a range of top academic journals such as Journal of Management Studies, European Journal of Work and Organisational Psychology, Studies in Higher Education, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Marketing Theory, Human Resource Development Quarter
